The 11th International Seminar of Research Month (ISRM) 2026 is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. All participants involved in the publication process—including authors, reviewers, editors, and conference committees—are expected to adhere to internationally recognized ethical principles.

The publication ethics of ISRM 2026 are established to ensure the quality, credibility, transparency, and integrity of all published research.

1. Principles of Publication Ethics

ISRM 2026 is committed to promoting integrity, transparency, fairness, and accountability throughout the publication process. The conference expects all participants—including authors, reviewers, editors, and committee members—to uphold the highest ethical standards in conducting, reporting, reviewing, and publishing research.

2. Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are expected to:

• Submit only original research.
• Ensure that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
• Properly acknowledge the work of others through appropriate citations.
• Accurately present research methods, data, and results.
• Obtain approval from all co-authors before submission.
• Promptly notify the Editorial Team if significant errors are discovered after submission.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

• Conduct reviews objectively and fairly.
• Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
• Provide constructive and professional comments.
• Evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit.
• Declare any conflicts of interest and decline reviews where necessary.

4. Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

• Making publication decisions based on academic quality.
• Maintaining the integrity of the peer-review process.
• Ensuring fair and unbiased editorial decisions.
• Protecting the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
• Addressing ethical concerns in accordance with conference policies.

5. Research Misconduct

ISRM 2026 considers the following practices to constitute research and publication misconduct:

• necessary approvals have been obtained when required.

9. Ethical Violations

When potential ethical violations are identified, the Editorial Team and Scientific Committee will conduct an appropriate assessment of the case.

Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, ISRM 2026 may take one or more of the following actions:

• Request clarification or additional information from the authors.
• Require revision or correction of the manuscript.
• Reject the manuscript.
• Withdraw an accepted paper before publication.
• Inform relevant institutions or funding agencies when necessary.

All cases will be handled fairly, objectively, and confidentially.

10. Ethics Statement

The publication ethics of ISRM 2026 are developed with reference to internationally recognized principles of ethical publishing, including the core practices promoted by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), while being adapted to the policies and procedures of ISRM 2026.
